Schindler's Factory Tour

Come with us on a journey back to the times when Kraków's Main Square was called Adolf Hitler Platz and the city itself was called not Kraków but Krakau. Walk among the city's inhabitants on the cabbled streets of wartime Kraków, feel overwhelmed by the omnipresent existence of the enemy, enter narrow passages and overpopulated apartments in the ghetto, find weapons in the resistance house, feel the horror of being imprisoned and interrogated, try to imagine your life in hiding and finally feel the bittersweet joy of being liberated by the Soviet army. This will be, in word, an emotional journey through lives of Kraków's citizens under the Nazi occupation. We will tell you their stories, and also share some of the ones told us by our parents and grandparents. Visit the historical museum in Poland with us, and forget for a time about your life here and now. Hear about the war in the country where it started.

On national and religious holidays Main Square undergrounds are closed and tour is not available then on Easter, 1st - 3rd May, 15th August, 1st & 11th November, 24th - 26th & 31st December, 1st & 6th January.

Where is the meeting point?

The meeting point is at the entrance to the Oskar Schindler’s Factory museum, 4 Lipowa Street in Cracow.

How long does the tour last for?

Tour lasts for ca. 2h.

Does the ticket include also entrance fee to the museum?

No, you pay 30PLN for guide service. While entering the museum you need to purchase also entrance ticket.

Can groups also sign up for this tour?

Yes, however, we ask groups of 7 or more people to contact us in advance.
