Wooden Architecture Trail

Feel a real serenity of the world that is gone!
Our tour will bring you to vintage country cottages, inns, country-town and rural residential buildings, craftsman shops, number of churches with beautiful indoor decorations.The edifices you will see come from 15th -19th century and most of these wonders may still be admired in their original settings. Some of the residential and farm buildings have been moved to open air museums.

OPTION A – WESTERN WISLA REGION (6h tour)

Includes:

  • Open Air Museum in Wygiełzów
  • Churches: 14th century in Graboszczyce; 17th century in Metków; 18th century in Barwałd

  • 19th century houses in Kalwaria

OPTION B – EASTERN WISLA REGION (8,5h tour)

  • 16th century country-town architecture in Lipnica Murowana
  • 19th century summer theatre and workers town in Brzesko Okocim

Before your visit

There is minimal number of participants required: min. 2 people

Where is the meeting point?
If booked in advance, we can pick you up at your hotel in Krakow. Otherwise, the meeting place is at Matejko Square no. 2, where our check-in office is.
How long is the tour?
Option A lasts ca 6h, options B and C lasts ca 8,5h.
Is there lunch included?
There is time for lunch in one local inns. Lunch is not included in the price.
