What you will see

You can choose one of below tours:

     1. Communism tour (ca. 2,5h) - 159PLN / per person

We'll drive you to the outskirts of Kraków to visit model Communist city & steelworks - Nowa Huta. You'll experience the wonders of this one-of-kind place, including its monumental Central Square, wide avenues, residential units, steelwork's headquarters, a Soviet tank and an impressive Solidarity church. Not only will you discover how the average Pole lived, worked and played under Communism, but stories and anecdotes from your laid-back local guide aill bring the "good old days" back to life.

     2. Communism de Luxe (ca. 4h) - 199PLN/ per person

An expanded 4-hour version of the standard Communist tour, which includes lunch in an old-school "Milk Bar" canteen and a guided visit to our private museum. Explore everyday life in Poland in the 1970s in our exclusive and unchanged Communist apartment, where you have the rare opportunity to eat pickled cucumbers and have a shot of vodka.

   3. Communist disco (ca 2h)  - 149PLN/ per person

Enjoy a VIP reservation at a hidden Communist pearl - Krakow's Old Town restaurant, unchanged since the 1970s. You'll sample tasty Polish snacks, beer and 3 different shots of vodka. Next, in the same venue, it's time for a 1980s-style disco where you can party all night long. A truly unique experience! (

Before your visit

  • Vintage Trabants sometimes break and it's part of your adventure :) In such a case we continue the tour in another Commie car or a taxi.
  • Our tour is not a history lesson. It's a mixture of stories, anecdotes and local knowledge. Your guide is not a historian. He's your laid-back driver & friend showing you Krakow through his eyes.
Where is the meeting point?
This tour offers you hotel pick up and drop off.
Is it walking tour?
Nowa Huta district sightseeing is partly walking and partly driving.
